The Association of Multisite Research Corporations (AMRC), the leading trade association representing multisite clinical research corporations (MCRCs), announces Jennifer Byrne, CEO of Javara, as its newest member of the Board of Directors.
Jennifer brings a wealth of experience in clinical research and patient engagement to AMRC, further strengthening the association’s leadership team. With a distinguished career that spans three decades, Jennifer has been a driving force in transforming clinical trials by integrating research into clinical care and expanding patient access.
Jim Kremidas, Executive Director of AMRC, said: “Jennifer’s leadership and commitment to patient-centered research perfectly align with AMRC’s mission to accelerate innovation and improve the efficiency of clinical trials through multisite collaboration. Her vision for the future of research sites, along with her proven track record of building high-performing networks, makes her an invaluable addition to our board.”
At Javara, Jennifer has pioneered new models for clinical research delivery, including embedding clinical research within clinical care known as clinical research as a care option (CRAACO), to enhance patient access and trial participation. Her expertise will help AMRC continue to advocate for efficient, scalable, and inclusive clinical trial models that benefit all stakeholders—from patients to sponsors and CROs.

Jennifer Byrne, CEO of Javara and member of AMRC board, said: “Joining the AMRC is a real privilege because I believe in the work the organization is doing and Javara is a founding member. AMRC is advancing the role of MCRCs, which is essential to address many of the industry’s challenges, from improving patient recruitment to driving operational excellence. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members and contributing to AMRC’s efforts to transform clinical research for the better.”
In addition to her role at Javara, Jennifer serves on numerous boards, including Greater Gift, a nonprofit she founded to raise awareness about clinical research and foster trust among patients. She also holds advisory roles with Wake Forest University’s clinical research program and the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine, among others. Recognized as a PM360 ELITE, CenterWatch Top 20 Innovator, and PharmaVOICE Woman of Influence, Jennifer’s contributions to the clinical research field are widely celebrated.
As AMRC continues to strengthen its leadership team, Jennifer’s appointment underscores the organization’s dedication to driving innovation, advancing patient-centered research, and ensuring clinical trials are a trusted part of healthcare’s future.
